My Granny.... I always thought she was the most beautiful woman on earth.
When I was a little girl, I'd look at this cube of pictures she had sitting on her banister.
I'd stare at this exact picture, thinking she was some kind of movie star. :-)
This woman MUST have wings in heaven... she was and will always be a true angel to me.
I think of her daily.... I miss her always... she will forever be in my heart 'til we meet again.

What a beautiful memory. My grandparents have all passed. I was only 4 when my maternal grandmother died, I don't remember her, I only know her from her pictures and my grandfather died just a few months after her. When I was 19 I had the rare chance to help take care of my grandfather's brother and his wife, this was a special time for me, I got to know my grandparents through them. I truly cherish those times. Your grandmother was very beautiful.

And even now thinking back to when I was a child, I always loved talking to old folks. I'd sit w/ my elderly neighbors and love to listen to their stories.
Not that shocking, right? :-)
